Our Story

La Maison Royale Hotel Group began in 2014 with a clear vision: to create hospitality experiences that reflect the beauty, culture, and warmth of Africa while meeting the expectations of today’s international traveller.

Our journey began in Kenya, where La Maison Royale became known for its welcoming service, boutique comfort, and distinctive city hospitality. From our first steps in Nairobi, we have grown into a collection of destinations across Westlands, South C, and the Masai Mara, serving business travellers, leisure guests, families, conference groups, and safari explorers.

Today, with Residency by LMR in Kigali, Rwanda, our story continues beyond Kenya as we grow into a wider East African hospitality group. Each new destination represents a new chapter, but our promise remains the same: to deliver memorable stays shaped by comfort, sincerity, and thoughtful service.
